"H" is for Harper

This is my new favorite picture of my Boy. I think he is the most handsome thing I've ever seen. Everywhere we go, we get compliments on his looks, his beautiful blue eyes, and his well mannered behavior. We love you Harper!

Harper has learned all the letters in the Alphabet with help from these fridge magnets. He impresses us with his memory and his ability to learn things quickly. We are working on learning the Alphabet song and letters in order, he loves to sing and be sung to. He knows "H" is for Harper and Hippopotamus!

Harper got his very own laptop so he would not want ours whenever we are on it! This has been the best purchase we have made in awhile :) It has lots of different learning game and he loves to push buttons and feel important.

Garrett took Harper to Pet's Mart last weekend and bought him this Betta fish, Harper named him Blue. Harper was in heaven walking around the store looking at all the animals and making sounds at them. He is very lucky to have an awesome Daddy who takes him out, wanting to spent time alone with him.

it's all about LOVE!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Yesterday was such a wonderful day - I spent time with my Mom and Sister Bri at a wedding dress shop designing her custom wedding dress! She is going to be absolutely beautiful in this dress - I can't wait. We had lunch at Jason's Deli, then came home to put Harper down for his nap while I got our Valentine's dinner ready.
Harper LOVES books so his gift from us was a few new & fun books!

Daddy's Little Boy!

My loving Husband brought home these flowers for me even though we bought this desk as our Valentine's present. He is the best and I'm so lucky he is all mine!

I made this necklace with my most favorite friend Kate, each of Harper Grandma's got this as a Valentine from him. It was a very fun and easy craft and super cute!!!

Since it was such a beautiful day out today, Kate and I walked to the park with our boys and let them play at the park. They had so much fun being outside and so did us Moms! I have Spring Fever big time :)

books

I never have much to blog on beside Harper and I could create a new entry about him everyday! He is my everything and I'm a very lucky Mama to have him. So I've decided to share a few of my favorite books and ones that I've read recently. I love to read and I'm always looking for a new book. A few friends of mine were in a book club but it didn't last so I thought I'd share this way instead.

the girl with the dragon tattoo series by stieg larsson
-these books are kind of dark and depressing but a very good read.

eat pray love by elizabeth gilbert
-i never saw this movie, but the book is good although it is slow, just a cute little story.

the bride quartet by nora roberts
-i have read the first 2 and need to order the next 2. 4 friends own a wedding business/love stories, great for a valentines read.

all of dan browns books especially the davinci code series
-very exciting and also interesting.

the hunger games series by suzanne collins
-yes i know this is the trendy book right now (better than twilight to me) but I think it is worth reading.

the time traveler's wife by audrey niffenegger
-i loved this book and movie, but heard lots didn't like the movie. i think you should read the book first it helps you follow the movie.

i have been interested in reading biographies lately, i don't know why all of the sudden but i have. just read about audrey hepburn and now want to read about marilyn monroe, her and audrey were in the same time frame.

i will be starting picture perfect by jodi picoult (author of my sisters keeper - also a good one) this weekend. i'm looking forward to having a love story to read over valentines.

feel free to share any book you've enjoyed reading!
hope you all have a happy valentines.

Idol

I recently read a Biography on Audrey Hepburn, I really enjoyed learning about her life because not only is she a stunningly beautiful fashion icon, she was also a very humble and lovable person (I fell in love with her just reading about her!) Her biggest dream was to be a Mother (mine too), and after a struggle to become a Mom she was an incredible one always putting her children first. After reading this book it has made me want to rent all of the movies she starred in and fall in love with her all over again. I highly recommend reading this if you are a fan of Audrey, her childhood is very interesting and will make you feel very grateful for yours.
