Christmas Tree

I love REAL Christmas trees! I love walking through all the trees to pick out the perfect one. I grew up having a real tree and refuse to get a fake one, Garrett is such a good husband and goes with me to the tree lot to buy a tree. The first year we got a tree together it was huge, so it gets a little smaller every year and now my only suggestion is that it has to be taller than me. Harper loves to look at the lights on the tree and I hope he loves a real tree as much as I did when I was a kid. I am starting a tradition and going to buy my kids an ornament every year so they will have a collection of their own.

Where did November go?

Time sure is going faster each month that passes, November was a busy month full of family activities and all the new things Harper is doing. He will be 5 months old this week, I can hardly believe it. I'm so grateful I've been able to stay home with him and watch every fun and cute little thing he does. He is expressing himself in many ways now: he spits, screams, laughs at random things, jabbers constantly and loves to look at himself in the mirrow! His jumper that hangs from a doorway is his new favorite activity, and I love it because it wears him out for a long nap. We are so lucky to have such a happy baby, his laugh is the best sound in the whole world. I'm so excited for his first Christmas even though he doesn't know what it's all about, just having him here is going to make this Christmas the best ever.

Cute Cousins

Harper's cousins came to play on Friday. Garrett took the day off work but got his workout in playing with Baylee and Madison! Harper and Bennett were more interested in sleeping and eating than playing!

Tummy Time

11 weeks old
Harper is getting SO BIG! He can now push his head and neck up with his arms and hold it for several minutes. He has started rolling over from his stomach to his back, he gets excited every time he rolls over and will kick his legs and laugh!
