Video Slideshow of Harper's newborn photo shoot

We took Harper to get his pictures taken at Simple Moments Photography the day after he turned 1 month old. He was so good and seemed to be posing for the camera - he'd follow the photographer with his eyes. If you liked this video and want to see more of Harper, check out his blog: www.HarperDouglas.com

Garrett builds a new deck

Garrett decided to build a new deck since he was taking some time off work after Harper's birth. He got several quotes from contractors and the cheapest was going to cost $1650. He ended up spending about $275 on materials and a new drill - then he just built it himself!

Babysitting Madi

Garrett and I had the privilege of babysitting our adorable niece Madison on Saturday!

The weather was so nice outside so we took Madi out to play and crawl around on the grass in our front yard.

She was such a doll the entire time we had her, full of smiles, and makes the sweetest little sounds. We were very sad when she had to leave.
We have loved watching Madi grow up and can't believe she is almost one.

We Love our Utah Jazz!

One of our favorite things to do is cheer on the Utah Jazz, whether it's watching them from home or being at the game. We went to 2 games last week and can't get enough of them. The new "lights out" player introduction is pretty sweet.
GO JAZZ!

Pumpkin Carving

Happy Halloween! I forget how much I love carving pumpkins, we used those templates that you poke dots through the paper onto the pumpkin and then follow the dots to carve around. Garrett's is the skull and mine is the spider, they barely lasted up to Halloween, I should have taken a picture of them again, there was nothing left to them but a big hole! But we sure had a good time carving them and can't wait to do it again next year. We stayed home Halloween night and handed out candy to all the Trick or Treaters, our favorites were of course Tyler and Jason and the 6 adults that came with them!
